The Travel Channel’s Man v. Food visits Seattle this week for amazing showdowns between Adam Richman (eater extraordinaire) and some of the biggest piles of eatin’ our city has to offer. Adam starts by tackling Red Mill Burgers, home to some of the best burgers (and onion rings) in the country. Then, he’s off to the waterfront classic Crab Pot, where he’ll undoubtedly use his 4 rows of teeth to tear through a wheelbarrow of seafood. Next, Adam bets the farm when he devours the infamous 12-egg omelet at Beth’s Cafe. Will he have what it takes, or will Seattle’s biggest appetites show him up?

Those are some serious portions, but man, do those omelets look good.
What a joke. all those places are sort of lame. I can’t believe thats the best he can come up with.
Yeah! I want even more celebrations of masochism and gluttony! I’d like to see one where Adam Whathisfatass takes the “spray a whole can of mace down your throat” challenge, followed by the “eat cheeseburgers until you rupture your intestines” ram-down.
The Travel Channel is in some sort of weird fetishistic rut with these pig-out shows. Another great example of the American tendency to ignore quality for sheer quantity – an indication of our pathetically adolescent, self centered society and our cohort lack of taste…Doesn’t do much for our justifiably bad reputation overseas in so many ways, and particularly for our gluttony for all the worlds resources. Pathetic…
It’s just a t.v. show … I.E. ENTERTAINMENT. Quit insisting on making everything political.
Exactly, it’s a tv show. Make you own show if you don’t like what’s being shown. If you can’t, then don’t tune in.
I tried the Crab Pot after I saw it on tv. It was awesome. I did not feel glutenous when I ate there, and I’m pretty petite. There is always someone who has to try and copy someone else’s political views, and try to act smarter than everyone else. I think its pretty amusing that the long winded person doesn’t have enough sense to know what they want to watch on tv.
Ignatzh ,
Wow! Who made you the food police? Did someone leave a big “steamer” in your omelet? What a complete tool you are! Rant and rave all you want about the downfall of American society, or just go kill yourself.
You are a complete and under waste!
One of the greatest shows on TV right now. And if you want even more food challenges I came across http://www.ibetyouwont.com that has a ton of challenges not mentioned on the show.
I went to a place in Columbus, Ohio after MvF went there and it was one of the greatest meals i’ve ever had!! Thurman’s Cafe was totaly legit and i tend to believe Adam knows what he’s talking about.

Ate at the “Crab Pot” in Sea-town 3 years ago…had a great meal and atmosphere.
Ignatzh (iguana-snatch!?!), you obviously haven’t run out of your 1950′s surplus of Spam and Vienna sausages to apprieciate the world’s offerings…
Adam u da shyt! That show is the shyt! Anybody that wouldn’t like that show must drink protien shakes every day and eat pills for sustanance!!!
